Meet Leah

Welcome! I’m Leah, a professional life coach, licensed therapist, and couples counselor and I’m so excited to connect with you.

My deep desire to understand myself and the people around me is what led me to begin my journey to the world of therapy and counseling. Through my professional training, diverse clinical experience, and personal healing journey, I discovered my desire to devote my time and energy to support and empower women to believe in themselves, build healthy relationships, and create a world where they feel safe, authentic, and recognized.

With compassion, warmth, and empathy, I’ll meet you right where you are today, while guiding you on the journey ahead. Every step of the way, I’ll be your biggest supporter as you learn to love yourself and live with authenticity.

Throughout my life, I have enjoyed working with individuals one-on-one—listening to their stories, learning about their greatest desires, and understanding their hopes of forging deep and meaningful connections with others. I used to say that I “fell” into the world of therapy, but looking back (and with the guidance of my own therapists and teachers), I realized that getting into this field was no coincidence. I was seeking a deeper understanding of myself, my relationships, as well as the world that I am trying to navigate through. My own healing journey has built the foundation of compassion and care I hold for all of my coaching clients.

Early in my career, I worked with a variety of populations, including children in residential treatment, incarcerated adults, and in-home family therapy, and in various modalities, such as family systems, trauma treatment, and couples therapy. I left these experiences, bringing with me the knowledge and understanding of how to create safety and rapport with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds, treat trauma, and understand how family and relationship dynamics impact our individual lives.

I now specialize in coaching highly motivated women wanting to improve their connection to self and others and feel a sense of internal safety and support as they navigate their world. My coaching work focuses on helping women understand how their attachment history, relationship dynamics, and societal messages impact their present day lives. In our coaching sessions we heal past trauma, untangle complications of love addiction, and learn how to build a loving and authentic sense of self. My clients learn how to increase their connection to others, build vulnerability safety, and maintain healthy relationships. By offering a holistic approach to healing, we connect the mind, body, and soul to achieve recovery.

When I’m not working, I spend time with my Goldendoodle, connect with nature, explore a new city or national park, or curl up with a good book. Fun fact: one of my favorite past jobs was coaching high school gymnastics. That’s one of the many reasons why I’m so grateful to be back in the coaching realm!
